Naman Ramachandran “Avoidance,” featuring BAFTA-winning British comedian Romesh Ranganathan, will premiere on BritBox International in North America and South Africa in September. Created and written by Ranganathan and Benjamin Green (“Romantic Getaway”) and starring Ranganathan (BBC’s “The Ranganation,” Netflix special “The Cynic”), the series follows anti-hero Jonathan who is struggling to get back on his feet after breaking up with partner Claire (Jessica Knappett, “Ghosts”). After Claire has accused him of being impossible to live with and keen to avoid conflict at all costs, Jonathan moves in with his sister (Mandeep Dhillon, “CSI: Vegas”) and her wife (Lisa McGrillis, “Mum”).

Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Doctor Who and Victoria actress Jenna Coleman have been announced as key cast on Northern England-set action thriller Jackdaw, the debut feature of Jamie Childs, whose drama directing credits include The Sandman and His Dark Materials.

People Just Do Nothing documentary has been announced by the BBC.Kurupting The Industry: The People Just Do Nothing Story will see the cast return to reflect on the series which first started in 2012 along with famous fans including Martin Freeman, Dizzee Rascal, Clara Amfo and Kurupt FM collaborator Craig David.The mockumentary follows a group of DJs and MCs behind pirate radio station Kurupt FM and stars Allan Mustafa (MC Grindah), Asim Chaudhry (Chabuddy G), Hugo Chegwin (DJ Beats), Steve Stamp (Steves), Dan Sylvester (Decoy), and Lily Brazier (Miche).There have been five seasons of the series so far.

People Just Do Nothing star Grindah has opened up about a potential sixth season of the show.Allan Mustafa, who plays Grindah in the garage wannabe group Kurupt FM, spoke to Digital Spy about working with the BBC for five seasons.“I loved my time on People Just Do Nothing and all that when they filmed us for the BBC,” Mustafa as Grindah said. “But it was a big miscommunication because when they first approached us, I always thought it was going to be a live feed of me MC-ing for ages at pirate radio.

There’s a new romantic comedy coming to Netflix!

Here’s a new trailer for an upcoming romantic comedy from Netflix starring Sam Claflin, Love Wedding Repeat, which is set for screens very soon. It looks like a Sliding Doors-style comedy with the likes of Olivia Munn, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joel Fry, Tim Key, Aisling Bea, Jack Farthing, Allan Mustafa, and Freida Pinto also amongst the impressive cast.
