A person was taken to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car on a main road in Whitefield. Emergency services including police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the smash on Bury New Road just after 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday).
One person was treated at the scene by fire crews then taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known at this stage.

Several emergency services were stationed at the scene with a car and motorbike inside the tape. In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "Just after 4:30pm on Tuesday 17 May one crew from Whitefield fire station attended a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Bury New Road, Whitefield. "One person was treated at the scene by firefighters before being conveyed to hospital by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service.
