A person was rescued from a from a house fire in Trafford on Monday afternoon (December 23). Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to the incident off Manchester Road in Carrington at around 3.45pm.
One lane was blocked on the main road as emergency services attended the incident. Four fire engines were called to the scene, with one person rescued from the blaze.
Occupants from inside were treated for smoke inhalation, police said. No serious injuries were reported and the blaze is not being treated as suspicious.
Pictures from the scene showed a number of police cars blocking the main road along with fire engines. The fire was reported on nearby School Lane.
