Person injured and building damaged after 'massive accident' at sushi restaurant
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA car smashed into a restaurant causing extensive damage and minor injuries. The Toyota vehicle crashed into the front of Zumuku on Lapwing Lane in Didsbury just before 3pm.
Greater Manchester Police said no arrests have been made. 'At least one person' suffered minor injuries, the force said. Zumuku is one of a number of restaurants, shops and cafes on a stretch of the road.
A clean up operation has begun, with extensive damage to the front of the premises and glass strewn around the pavement. In a message seen by the M.E.N., the restaurant wrote: "I'm calling regarding your reservation for today, due to a massive accident we are unable to serve any guests tonight.
