Jane admitted that her role became "too much." at times, especially during this week's heart-wrenching scenes where Paul (Peter Ash) passes away from MND.
Off-screen, Jane and Isobel, known for her roles in Emmerdale and EastEnders, have been together for over 28 years and tied the knot in 2015.
In a recent interview with Liverpool Echo, Jane shared a touching moment when she was "unable to open the script" for the episode where Paul dies, and Isobel stepped in to help her cope with the demanding storyline.
