Comedian Chris McCausland, who made his Strictly Come Dancing debut on Saturday night, revealed he was 'nearly cancelled' after his first performance.The funnyman was one of the 15 celebs to grace the iconic ballroom for the show's 20th anniversary series, hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
In a first for Strictly, Chris, who is blind, was paired with pro dancer Dianne Buswell, who made it to the final last year with EastEnders ' Bobby Brazier.
Discussing the new partnership, Claudia described it as dreamy, to which Chris quipped: "She is absolutely over the moon having me because she [Dianne] really wants November off.
You've got a holiday booked, haven't you?!" When Claudia asked Dianne to give Chris a rundown of what to expect on Strictly, she responded: "Firstly, I am a big fan of yours.
