Pep Guardiola warned his Manchester City players would be making a "huge mistake" if they went out looking for revenge against Real Madrid.
City are back at the Bernabeu a year after suffering agonising heartbreak in the Champions League when they were leading by two goals until the 180th minute of their semi-final yet crumbled to lose.
Real went on to beat Liverpool in the final in Paris and claim a 14th crown while the Blues were left to work out what had gone wrong in those mad few minutes.
The draw has given City the chance to make up for last year's disappointment, only with the first leg in Madrid this time. Both camps expect the Manchester return fixture to be where the tie is decided, yet Rodri spoke of how the match offered City the chance to earn some revenge.
