Pep Guardiola has indicated that it may be harder for players to work their way back into the first team in the final months of the season.
Manchester City are approaching the crunch part of their domestic and European campaigns. Should they get the results they want in their three remaining matches before the international break, they will return in April with a Premier League title to fight for as well as a Champions League quarter-final and an FA Cup semi-final.
Guardiola is expected to have a fully fit squad to choose from for the trip to Crystal Palace this weekend, with Phil Foden free of any issues with his foot and Kyle Walker training as normal despite the allegations against him this week.
And while the manager will need everyone he has got to juggle the demands of gunning for multiple trophies, he suggested that he will not need to rotate as much as he does earlier in the season.
