Pensioner dies after being hit by van at a Scots caravan park

A pensioner has died after being hit by van at a Scots holiday park.The 86-year-old female pedestrian was hit by a white Vauxhall Combo van at Seton Sands Caravan Park in East Lothian at around 10.40am on Sunday, September, 22.The pensioner was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, but sadly she could not be saved.

Police confirmed that her family are aware. The 45-year-old male driver of the van was not injured in the incident. An image shows an air ambulance at the scene following the collision.
