Pensioner's in Greater Manchester have been issued a reminder on unclaimed Pension Credit. The Greater Manchester Combined Authority account issued the reminder on Twitter (now X).
The post, aimed at those who have reached pension age, said an estimated £95m of Pension Credit remains unclaimed in Greater Manchester alone.
Pension Credit is designed to top up the pensions of some of the poorest people in the country who depend on the state pension to live.
On average, Pension Credit brings in £3,900 a year and helps with day-to-day expenses for those who have reached State Pension age and are living on a low income.
