Peaky Blinders production crew members and their shivering canary needed to seek emergency accommodation after being caught up in Aberdeen's snow drifts .
Due to the bad weather closing down the A96, motorists were left stranded in Huntly overnight and had to find somewhere to stay.
Although twenty eight people managed to find accommodation in the nearby four star Georgian house 'Castle Hotel', locals ended up offering their spare rooms to others who were left with nowhere to go.
Amongst those who were stranded in Huntly were some crew members from BBC drama Peaky Blinders who had been filming in the town of Portsoy last week.
