David Beckham provided an amusing response to Marcus Rashford equalling his amount of goals for Man Utd, by admitting he "didn't realise he had scored that many".
The United legend found the net 85 times during his trophy-laden 11-year stint at Old Trafford, in a total of 394 appearances.
Quite an impressive haul for a right midfielder, particularly as he left United for Real Madrid at the age of 28. Rashford has been quickly on his heels in the intervening years however, shooting his way to the same tally in 253 appearances - 141 less than Beckham.
The 23-year-old does have the advantage of playing as a forward for much of that time, and Beckham was not in the business of comparing record anyhow, as he was surprised to have ranked that
