Paul Pogba has reportedly told Manchester United he wants to join Real Madrid in the summer. The Frenchman's contract expires at the end of the season and January marked the beginning for clubs to negotiate pre-contract terms ahead of a potential move.
Pogba, 28, is a divisive figure with fans and pundits who love and loathe the World Cup winner. As a result, his time back in Manchester has been mixed - whilst he has displayed flashes of brilliance, there have been bruising displays for the midfielder.
His last appearance in the Premier League for the Reds came in the 5-0 embarrassment to the hands of Liverpool where he was sent-off within 15 minutes of coming on as a second-half substitute.
He then suffered a thigh injury which has kept him out for nearly three months but marked his return to the first-team training setup this week.
