Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell have gotten rid of their New York City penthouse apartment.
The couple previously purchased the home in 2015 for $15.5 million and they took a huge loss on the sale, which went for $8.5 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The apartment was originally listed for $12 million last June and then the price was reduced to $10.5 million. The final sale price clearly went even lower.
It was reported that the apartment was sold as a “white box,” which means that it was a completely clean palette, so these photos show what it looked like when McCartney first bought the unit.
