Paul Ince has taken aim at Manchester United for letting Dortmund striker Erling Haaland "slip through the net". The Red Devils were linked with a move for the former Salzburg forward, who was available to sign for just £17million - the price of his release clause.

Since moving to Germany, Haaland has shown further signs of improvement. The Norwegian wonderkid netted a hat-trick in just 20 minutes of his Dortmund debut in a 5-3 win over Augsburg.

Haaland has gone on to bag a further nine goals in just 10 games, and would likely cost in excess of £100million in today's market.
