Paul Feig Inks First Look Film Deal With Lionsgate – CinemaCon

deadline.comLionsgate has signed a first look film producing deal with their A Simple Favor franchise and The Housemaid filmmaker Paul Feig and his Feigco Entertainment.
The news comes in the wake of Feig’s sequel Another Simple Favor world premiering at SXSW to a 78% fresh Rotten Tomatoes critics score; that pic set to stream on May 1 on Prime Video.
Feig runs Feigco with his producing partner Laura Fischer. The announcement was made today by Adam Fogelson, chair, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, at CinemaCon today.
Fogelson said, “From his breakthrough with Bridesmaids to his most recent movie The Housemaid, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Paul for 15 years.
