Police are investigating after a man was left injured in a 'disturbance' on an estate in Middleton. Officers were called to the Alkrington estate at around 5.25pm on Wednesday (May 3).
The incident was believed to have happened near The Moss. One man was taken to hospital from the scene with injuries to his arms, legs and back, police said.

The Manchester Evening News understands the incident is not being investigated as a stabbing at this stage. Pictures sent to the M.E.N showed blood spatters on a pathway on the estate.
