Passenger flight returns to Edinburgh after mid-air U-turn due to 'issue'

A passenger flight from Edinburgh was forced to carry out a U-turn after an issue was declared mid-air. Loganair flight LM325 left the capital for Southampton at around 3.30pm on Wednesday.It was due to touch down shortly after 5pm - however, information from FlightRadar24 shows the aircraft had to circled back over the Lake District due to what is understood to have been a "technical issue".
