Joe Wicks hosting Edinburgh 5k as Scots invited to morning run

Fitness coach Joe Wicks is heading to Edinburgh on Monday to go for a morning run with locals. The TV presenter, who has built a huge fitness empire, encouraged those who are in the capital to join him for a 5K run in the city centre.

It will take place at 6.30am and the meeting point is at Charlotte Square, near Princes and George Street. In a post to his Facebook page, The Body Coach, he told his 4.5million followers: "Edinburgh!!!

Come and join me for a 5KM run tomorrow morning (Monday 10th Feb). "Meet at 6.30am at Charlotte Square. Please share with your friends in Edinburgh." It comes a couple of weeks after Joe surprised a Scots primary school with a visit in East Lothian.
