Partick Thistle confirm Scott Martin signing as Scott Robinson heads in opposite direction to Hamilton Accies

Partick Thistle have confirmed the signing of Scott Martin from Championship rivals Hamilton Accies, with midfielder Scott Robinson heading in the opposite direction as part of the deal. Lanarkshire Live Sport exclusively revealed earlier today that Martin was leaving Accies after seven years to join the Jags, where he has penned an 18-month deal, with the club holding the option of a further year.

And Accies have now welcomed Robinson to New Douglas Park on a two-and-a-half year deal.Robinson gas won the Championship with Hearts and Kilmarnock and will help bolster Hamilton's frontline, as they seek to claw themselves away from relegation danger in the second tier.On his new signing, Accies boss John Rankin said: “I’m delighted to get the deal for Scott over the line.
