Hamilton Accies star Scott Robinson made a dream debut as he scored after just five minutes of Saturday’s 2-1 win at Queen’s Park, and hopes it’s the first of many.Robinson says perseverance paid off at Hampden as he followed up Oli Shaw’s shot to tap it in when the ball hit the post.That provided the foundation for Ricki Lamie to add a second in 13 minutes – his first Accies goal – as they bagged their first win in five games.Robinson says he’s comfortable in a striker or attacking midfielder role, but just wants to boost Hamilton’s firepower, having joined from Partick Thistle on a two-and-a-half year deal on transfer deadline day.The former Livingston ace said: “I want to score in every game I play in.

I know that can’t always be the case, but I always try and get forward, whether that’s playing just off the striker, up front in a two, or wherever I’m asked to play.“You need that goal threat throughout the team, you can’t just rely on one striker, or whatever.“I definitely want to try and bring that to the team, as well as assists.
