The parents of a premature baby who survived evil killer Lucy Letby have told how they found the murder nurse by their daughter's cot as alarms sounded.Mike and Vicky Whitfield appeared on ITV's Good Morning Britain to talk about how their daughter nearly became one of Letby's first victims.
Letby, 33, was handed a whole life sentence and will face the rest of her life behind bars after she was found guilty of killing seven babies and trying to kill six others.
Following the guilty verdict and sentencing, Mike and Vicky have have spoken out to reveal the horrific moment they nearly lost their premature daughter, Felicity, after she unexpectedly suffered a collapsed lung.
Felicity was being treated at the Countess of Chester Hospital where Letby worked in 2013 - five years before she was first investigated.Speaking on GMB today, mum Vicky said: "It was around three o’clock in the morning.
