Parents have been warned to keep their children away from two north Manchester parks following a fight. Police were called to Plant Hill Road Park in Blackley on Wednesday (May 17) to reports of a brawl, which the Manchester Evening News understands was between local kids.

Officers say no serious injuries were reported, and an investigation into affray has been launched. Texts sent by local schools and seen by the M.E.N.

advised parents to keep them away from the parks and to pick them up instead of allowing them to walk home.
