'Disgusted' parents have accused their son's school of sexual discrimination after he was told he cannot wear his hair in a ponytail.
Tyler Brown started his first year at Alder Community High School in Hyde last week but three days in and he was told to remove his bobble and put his hair down, leaving it flopping in his face.
Rachael Howard and Robert Brown, the 11-year-old's mum and dad, say the school allows girls to wear their hair in a ponytail so he's a victim of sexual discrimination.
Robert said: "He wants it to look like Thor's hair in Marvel Avengers but it's not long enough yet." "He decided he wanted to start growing his hair during lockdown.
