'Palm Royale' Renewed for Season 2 at Apple TV+!
justjared.comPalm Royale is coming back! Apple TV+ has renewed the series for a second season, THR reported Thursday (June 6).
In the series, Kristen Wiig stars as Maxine Simmons, a woman determined to join Palm Beach’s high society set in 1969, going to great lengths (and costs) to acheive her goal.
The show’s cast also includes Allison Janney, Laura Dern, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy and Kaia Gerber, as well as Bruce Dern and Carol Burnett in recurring roles. “Palm Royale has delighted global audiences and we are thrilled that viewers will have the opportunity to spend more time with this highly entertaining, iconic cast, from Kristen Wiig to the incomparable Carol Burnett,” said Apple TV+ head of programming Matt Cherniss in a statement. “We can’t wait for everyone to experience the next brilliantly witty chapter in the lives of the Palm Beach high society set that Abe Sylvia, Kristen, Laura Dern and this incredible team behind the show have brought so vibrantly to life.” Find out what other shows Apple TV+ renewed and cancelled in 2024.
