Paddy McGuinness gave a very frank verdict on his new exercise regime as he took a breather. In a video showing the Bolton funnyman lying down, he told fans that had joined a Pilates class and it had turned out tougher than he had imagined. "I have been brutalised today.
Brutalised," he said into the camera on his Instagram Stories. Paddy, 49, explained that he was advised to take up the exercise by his physio after tearing a lat muscle, which covers the width of the middle and lower back, and his shoulder. "I did it for the first time this morning," he said.
And he continued honestly: "Oh god it's brutal. It is brutal. I walked in this room. It was full of women of a certain age. I'm thinking 'this isn't for me.'" And as for the women in the class: "They were smashing it," he said. "Not a problem." Whereas Paddy said he was "on my a***".
