Outlander fans have been left reeling after an action-packed episode sees Jamie and Claire Fraser join the revolution. The fourth episode, titled 'A Most Uncomfortable Woman', begins with a time jump as viewers see Roger (Richard Rankin) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton) settled in Lallybroch in 1980.
The young couple are having money problems as they put all their savings into the house, prompting Bree to get a job. Bree goes for a job interview at a local dam, but the interviewer assumes she is there to apply for the secretarial vacancy because she is a woman.
Bree intended to apply for the plant inspector role, and schools Mr Campbell on all the flaws of the dam and gets the job as a result.
After she returns home to share the good news with Roger, Bree is disappointed by her husband's unenthusiastic reaction. He explains he promised Jamie and Claire he would take care of her and the kids and he feels like he is failing.Elsewhere, Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan), and Ian (John Bell) make their way to Wilmington where they will set sail for Scotland before their plans are derailed.
