‘Outer Range’ Canceled at Amazon After Two Seasons

Joe Otterson TV Reporter “Outer Range” has been canceled at Amazon Prime Video, Variety has confirmed. The series aired on the streamer for two seasons.

The first season debuted in 2022, while the second season dropped in its entirety in May. Josh Brolin led the cast, which also included Imogen Poots, Lili Taylor, Tamara Podemski, Lewis Pullman, Tom Pelphrey, Noah Reid, Shaun Sipos, Isabel Arraiza, Olive Abercrombie, and Will Patton.

Charles Murray served as showrunner and executive producer. Brolin was also an executive producer in addition to starring. Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Ernest McNealey, Tony Krantz, Heather Rae, and Jon Paré also executive produced.

The official description of the series states, “‘Outer Range’ centers on Royal Abbott (Brolin), a rancher fighting for his land and family, who discovers an unfathomable phenomenon at the edge of Wyoming’s wilderness, in the form of a dark void.
