James Christian Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Ana Celia de Armas Caso (born 30 April 1988) is a Cuban actress. She began her career as a teenager in her native Cuba and most notably had a leading role in the romantic drama Una rosa de Francia (2006). At the age of 18, she moved to Madrid, Spain and starred in the popular teen drama El Internado for six seasons from 2007 to 2010. After moving to Los Angeles, de Armas had English-speaking roles in the horror film Knock Knock (2015) and the crime drama War Dogs (2016). She had a supporting role in the sports biopic Hands of Stone (2016).

The Oscars 2023 returned to our screens on Sunday night, celebrating the very best talent in film, design and sound. Everything Everywhere All at Once were the big winners at the Academy Awards this year, scooping six major trophies.

Stars, directors, producers and a whole host of celebrities headed to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the special event, which is celebrating its 95th edition.

Comedian and TV host Jimmy Kimmel took on presenting duties for the evening, with the likes of Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal and Andrew Garfield among the award presenters - with Will Smith's infamous antics from last year referenced throughout the entire evening. Lady Gaga and Rihanna both missed out on an Oscar, as 'Naatu Naatu' from 'RRR' won the award for Best Original Song and beat the two pop icons and their fellow nominees in the category.
