The 2021 Academy Awards will take place on April 25 with a live show from multiple locations in Los Angeles, but there will be limited attendees allowed at the show.
Usually, the event is held at the historic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and the Academy usually holds a lottery for members to get tickets to attend the live show.
This year, only the nominees, their guest of choice, and the presenters will be allowed to attend the show due to the ongoing pandemic.
Also, Union Station in downtown Los Angeles will be used as an additional venue. “This year, those attending the awards in person will be nominees, their guest, and presenters — with an audience of millions watching and cheering from all around the world.
