Israel defender Or Dadia has rejected two offers in his homeland with a move to Aberdeen seemingly imminent. Interest in Dadia emerged on Saturday evening as Barry Robson looks to bolster his defensive ranks with a loan deal for the 26-year-old.
Things have developed quickly since and Hapoel Be'er Sheva have given him the green light to leave their pre-season preparations and travel to Scotland to pursue the move.
He rejected Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Netanya with his sights set on signing up for a crack at Europe with the Dons. He is expected to join on an initial season-long loan but his club have negotiated a reported £400,000 option to buy which Aberdeen can trigger if he impresses in Scotland.
Dadia, a right-back who has also played centre-back and defensive midfield in the past, made his international debut last year in a friendly against Malta, which was his only cap.
