Hulu has handed a Season 3 renewal to Reasonable Doubt, its original legal drama series from Onyx Collective, produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios, and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed, Kerry Washington and Larry Wilmore.

Additionally, Mohamed, the series’ creator and showrunner, has signed an overall deal with 20th TV, Deadline can reveal exclusively.

The renewal comes less than a month after Reasonable Doubt’s Season 2 finale, with the series, starring Emayatzy Corinealdi, remaining a fixture in Hulu’s daily Top 15 throughout its second-season run.

Mohamed has been at Disney and ABC Studios/ABC Signature since 2009 when she became a writers’ PA on Grey’s Anatomy and subsequently a fellow in the Disney/ABC Writing program.
