Jon Hamm Drama ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ Renewed For Season 2 By Apple As Season 1 Gets Premiere Date & First-Look Photos
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Amid strong internal buzz, Apple TV+ has handed a very early renewal to its upcoming drama series Your Friends & Neighbors, from creator Jonathan Tropper (Apple’s See, Warrior).
Along with the pickup, the streamer has set April 11 as premiere date for the show, starring and executive produced by Emmy winner Jon Hamm (Mad Men, Fargo).
First-look images provide a glimpse at Hamm and other actors from the cast, which includes Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Marie Gravitt and Donovan Colan. (You can see them above and below.) Chatter about an early Your Friends & Neighbors renewal started last month as Apple TV+ executives started screening cuts of the first season.
The process quickly gained momentum, with the new season currently being written for a targeted spring production start date, I hear.
