Ongoing incident at Edinburgh Princes Street as cops swoop near McDonald's

Emergency services were called after a man fell onto the busy road at 8.30am on Tuesday morning.Officers sealed off the road near McDonald's after an ambulance crew was sent to the scene.The man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for an examination.

The investigation has resulted in major traffic chaos including tailbacks down Lothian Road, Castle Terrace and the West Approach Road.
