Manchester United fans are pleading with their club to get in early to meet Christopher Nkunku’s reported new release clause.
Any hopes United fans had of landing the RB Leipzig star this summer have ended after he put pen to paper on a new deal. Nkunku has signed a new contract, which will keep him with the Bundesliga club until 2026.
Some fans hope that United could make a move for him next summer, though. According to various reports, a release clause of around €60million has been included in Nkunku’s deal that can be activated in the summer of 2023. They are currently targeting Ajax star Antony this summer, while they have already ignored Ralf Rangnick’s suggestion to sign Nkunku already.
