In January, as you’ll recall, we got a musical reboot of the 2004 teen comedy. While it was conjured up by the same creative mind behind the original in Tina Fey, fans of the classic were left hungry for a proper continuation.
Not to mention Lindsay Lohan, the OG star, was totally blindsided by an icky joke aimed at her… However!! Could there be another chance to get it right?? On Tuesday, a film insider told People that Lindsay, who memorably played Cady Heron, “wants to do another [Mean Girls] and has a good relationship with her former cast members.” Wow!
She of course shared the screen with fellow plastics Rachel McAdams, who played Regina George, Amanda Seyfried, who played Karen Smith, and Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Wieners.
