Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Omar Colley isn't in any rush to sign a new deal with Serie A club Sampdoria.The £9m rated defender was mentioned in relation to moves to the Hoops, West Ham and Liverpool in the summer.Neil Lennon eventually signed Shane Duffy but the Brighton loanee's poor performances could prompt a defensive rethink in the January window.Colley has only made four appearances for Claudio Ranieri's side this season and currently has no intention of signing an extension to a deal that expires in 2022.

While his agent insists that no move will take place unless it's "something important", his club will surely look to maximise his value by agreeing a deal in the January window.Cheikh Fall told SN24: "Colley's renewal isn't on the agenda right now.
