The Olympic Games are drawing to a close this weekend (Sunday, August 11). It's safe to say it's been an eventful competition – from the return of highly decorated gymnast Simone Biles and unstoppable French swimmer Leon Marchand.Team GB have also been busy winning medals – including Bryony Page who scooped the first ever British gold in trampolining.

It was a highly moving moment when she stood on the podium with God Save The King playing in the background. And Bryony's victory wasn't the only reason viewers at home were emotional. The winning trampolinist accidentally messed up the words to the National Anthem – singing God Save The Queen by accident on one line.

It's no surprise she fluffed her words, given the magnitude of the occasion. And people at home admitted they'd been feeling weird about the lyrics of the National Anthem changing too.

One viewer at home tweeted: "Just watched GB/NI's Bryony Page on the podium with her trampolining Gold & you can see she's been doing this a while as she sang 'God save our gracious Queen' in the first line then realised immediately what she'd done and emphasised *King* in the second and following lines." Another said: "Bryony Page forgetting and singing God Save The Queen." And a third laughed: "Bryony Page singing 'God Save the Queen' with such confidence before correcting herself." The God Save The King anthem dates back to the 18th century.
