Olly Murs talks about ‘hard times’ during first year as a dad to daughter Madison

Olly Murs has kicked off the new year with a heartfelt tribute to his daughter Madison, who he and wife Amelia Tank welcomed into the world in April 2024.The couple, who revealed they were expecting their bundle of joy in December 2023, introduced their cute baby girl to the world with a post documenting their first journey home from the hospital as a trio on 17 April.

Since then, Olly has given fans an intimate glimpse into his life as a new father, sharing many touching moments, including when work commitments caused him to miss his first Father's Day with Madison.

However, he did manage to take his first holiday with his daughter, travelling to Polzeath, near Padstow in Cornwall for a well-deserved break - and even introduced her to her first Euros football match on TV.

From tantrums to teething, sweet giggles and mischievous smiles, there have been countless memories for Olly and Amelia as they embarked on what he fittingly termed his "dad era".
