Manchester United are making plans to bleed Hannibal Mejbri into the first-team at Old Trafford. The 17-year-old has only started once for the Under-23s since arriving from Monaco last summer but could be poised to make his senior debut not long after football resumes.
With reserve stars James Garner and Dylan Levitt set to be loaned out this summer, Mejbri is expected to be promoted from the Under-18s in their place.
And the Manchester Evening News believe the youngster could even be the sixth-choice midfielder in United's first-team next season, copying the path Scott McTominay took in recent years.
