The transfer hinged on a work permit being accepted, but Solskjaer is confident the Red Devils have their ducks in a row and that the deal will go through.
Speaking on the eve of the January transfer window opening, the Manchester United boss revealed his excitement in welcoming the teenager to Old Trafford this month.
Solskjaer said: "We have had all the paperwork, I can't see any obstacles. He's coming. "I hope very soon he will be with us.
