Doechii’s win also makes her the third female artist to receive the award after Lauryn Hill and Cardi B.But her live performance on the night was one of the highlights of the show with the rapper receiving a standing ovation from the crowd including Jay-Z, SZA and Billie Eilish, who looked visibly amazed, when the camera cut to her and she said: “Oh my God!”The performance saw Doechii perform ‘Catfish’ and ‘Denial Is A River’ as the former saw her rapping against a massive backlit fan as a group of gray-clad dancers bounced along below.
