Billie Eilish wore a baseball cap made from their cloth at the 2025 Grammys. While attending the 67th Grammys ceremony – which was held in Los Angeles this past weekend (February 2) – the singer sported a yellow sports jersey and an LA Dodgers hat with two small union flags and the word “Moon” embroidered on the side panel. The logo belongs to Abraham Moon & Sons, one of the last surviving woollen mills in the UK.
The firm was created in 1837 and creates cloth that is sold to global leading fashion and interior designers. Not all of the items that use Moon’s cloth feature their logo but by luck, Eilish’s Dodgers hat did.Speaking about the moment, Moon’s brand and project director Joe McCann told BBC: “It’s really nice to see what is quite traditional cloth being used in such a modern way.”He continued: “It has been a hive of activity, the whole office has been absolutely buzzing about it.
It was a complete surprise to us, it was fantastic to see Billie wearing it. “It’s always really great and a lovely surprise when artists and influential people that you really respect come out and where something like this.
It makes the world of difference and for a company like ours you can’t replace the power of an influential figure like Billie wearing a product.”McCann also opened up about the moment with The Guardian and shared: “We didn’t get any heads up but of course we spotted it immediately and were like ‘Wow that’s incredible’.”Eilish was nominated for seven awards along with her brother and collaborator Finnead but lost out in all categories.
