Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish have taken to social to declare their favourite artists were respectively “robbed” at the 2025 Grammys last night (February 2).Both are no strangers to Grammy gold, with ‘The Tortured Poet’s Department’ hit-maker having a career total of 14 wins with 58 nominations, while Eilish has 9 wins and 31 nominations.Both were up for Record of the Year – Swift for ‘Fortnight’ and Eilish for ‘Birds of a Feather’ – but the category was ultimately won by Kendrick Lamar.

The rapper walked away as the biggest winner of the night, clinching five awards including Record of The Year and Song Of The Year for ‘Not Like Us’.

He also took home the Grammys for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for ‘Not Like Us’, which also won Best Music Video.Likewise, the pair were nominated for Album of the Year for ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ and ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ respectively, but lost out to Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’.

The ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ singer was also awarded Best Country Album, which was delivered to her by Swift.Despite embarking on a culture-defining ‘Eras Tour’ last year, which saw over 10million attendees in total and took in a staggering $2billion in ticket sales, Swift was awarded no Grammys at last night’s ceremony – the first time the star has ever been snubbed when she had six or more nominations.Similarly, the ‘Wildflower’ singer was nominated for seven awards on the night, along with her brother and collaborator Finneas, but lost out in all categories on the night.Ardent fans of Taylor Swift, known fondly as Swifties, have not responded well, and many are levelling accusations at Jay-Z for somehow pulling strings for his wife.
