Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Odion Ighalo has scored four goals for Manchester United since joining on loan in January, going a long way to convince club bosses that he deserves to stay beyond the summer.
Although the former Watford man had impressed scouts enough to earn a loan at Old Trafford, it seems as though they wanted to add an extra reason for him to score.
The Sun have reported that the Shanghai Shenhua striker earns £8,000 every time he does so as a United player, on top of his basic wages.
The 30-year-old has helped fill the void left by the injured Marcus Rashford since the transfer, for which he accepted a huge pay cut of 40 per cent on his on his £300,000-a-week wages.
