Bookmaker Paddy Power have cut the odds on former Manchester United and England footballer Gary Neville bidding to become MP.
It comes following a report in City AM that the Manchester United legend is to step up his work with the Labour Party. The newspaper said the former right-back is set to make a series of appearances beside Leader of the Opposition Sir Keir Starmer, HullLive reports .
Now Paddy Power has not only cut the odds on the Sky Sports pundit making a run for Parliament but also on him becoming Labour leader one day.
The Irish bookie has made the footballer 20/1 to stand for Parliament at the next election, down from 100/1 before the news.
