A pensioner has reappeared in court charged with the alleged 'gunshot' death of Brian Low in Aberfeldy.David Campbell, 75, returned to Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, June 4 charged with murder and an attempt to defeat the ends of justice.
Campbell, of Perth and Kinross, made no plea and was remanded in custody following the full committal hearing.His appearance in the dock comes eight days after the initial hearing on Monday, May 27.
No further court dates have yet been fixed.Mr Low, 65, was allegedly shot dead while walking his dog on a remote path near the Perth and Kinross town on Saturday, February 17.
His body was discovered by a member of the public in the Pitllie area and he was pronounced dead at the scene.His black Labrador was found safe and well by his side.
