EXCLUSIVE: O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale, Presumed Innocent) and Sian Clifford (Fleabag, The Ballad of Wallis Island) have joined as series regulars and Ronny Chieng (The Daily Show, Crazy Rich Asians) in a recurring role in Peacock’s upcoming comedy, The Miniature Wife.

Details regarding their characters are under wraps. They join series leads and executive producers Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen and cast Zoe Lister-Jones and Sofia Rosinsky in the series created and executive produced by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner, who also serve as showrunners.

Based on the short story written by Manuel Gonzalez, The Miniature Wife is a high-concept marital comedy examining the power (im)balances between spouses, Lindy (Banks) and Les (Macfadyen), after a technological accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis.

Greg Mottola will direct the first two episodes and serves as an executive producer alongside Banks, Macfadyen, Ames, Turner, Michael Aguilar and Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer for Media Res and Michael Aguilar.
