Mia Goth Joins Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’
variety.comJack Dunn Scream queen Mia Goth has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan‘s IMAX epic “The Odyssey,” Variety has confirmed. She will appear alongside a growing cast including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal and John Leguizamo. “The Odyssey” follows the Greek hero Odysseus on his world-spanning journey home after the Trojan War.
The story was originally written by the ancient Greek poet Homer over 2,000 years ago and is one of the oldest stories still enjoyed by contemporary readers.
Universal, the film’s distributor, said in December that the film is a “mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology.
The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time.” The film is set to hit theaters on July 17, 2026.
