Taking control of your health isn't always the easiest of tasks, particularly if it feels like you've tried every weightloss diet or trend out there - and nothing works.
But one 53-year-old woman has sung the praises of an app that helped her to lose almost two and a half stone. Chrissy Clark, a 53-year-old nurse from Ohio, says a health scare kickstarted her journey. "Back in January I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I was severely obese," she recounts. "For my height, I was really overweight.
I clocked in at 223 [lbs] at my highest that I got on the scale and it really sent me for a loop when I got the diabetes diagnosis." This forced her to make a change - which is when she discovered the Simple coaching app, which helps adults live healthier lives. Now, she says: "I am happier, I am healthier, I have more energy." Chrissy began her journey by consulting her doctor, who gave her the go-ahead, along with the advice to not lose more than 2lbs a week.
